LIFE IS HEAVY—IT’S TIME TO LAY IT DOWN.

Pain brought you here & I’m truly honored to walk with you from this point.

A space to Dwell - not just to cope.

The name Dwell Therapy comes from Psalm 27:4, a verse that’s close to my heart:

“One thing I ask from the Lord, this only do I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life,
to gaze on the beauty of the Lord and to seek him in his temple.”

This verse is about safety, presence, and peace. That’s exactly what I want my therapy practice to be. A place where you can dwell, not just survive. A place where you feel safe, seen, and supported as you process hard things and step into healing.

Whether or not you come from a faith background, Dwell Therapy is built on the belief that you’re worthy of care, hope, and restoration.

From Surviving to Thriving

Let me be honest: I didn’t become a therapist because I had it all together. I became a therapist because I didn’t. Like many of my clients, I’ve lived through trauma and walked the long road of recovery from PTSD.

I know the sleepless nights. The panic that sneaks up out of nowhere. The confusion, the numbness, the self-doubt. I also know how powerful it is when someone looks you in the eye, holds space for your pain, and helps you take the next right step.

I started Dwell Therapy to be that someone for others.

Today, I specialize in helping women and teens move through trauma, anxiety, and life transitions with clarity and courage. I’m deeply committed to creating a space that’s warm, authentic, and nonjudgmental, where you can be fully yourself

Taylor’s Education & Credentials

I received my Bachelors in Family Psychology from Williams Baptist University and Master of Social Work from Union University. Both of these degrees not only equipped me with a solid foundation to help people, but helped me find my passion to do so. Because I just can’t get enough and I love to learn, I am currently pursuing an Associates in Biblical Studies with plans to graduate in 2027.

I am an EMDR Certified Therapist, which is an advanced EMDR credential. I am also trained in Trauma Focused CBT and I am IFS (Internal Family Systems) informed.

As a therapist, I first use a relational approach, because nothing feels worse than pursuing trauma therapy with a therapist you have no connection with. I want to get to know YOU before diving in. :)
